COMPANY’S INTRODUCTION
We are Deltamar S.A. Bata, a “new company formed by experienced people”, established to give an alternative to all operators of the port of Bata.
We are well equipped to load/discharge/handle any kind of vessel and /or cargo and our fleet is composed by:
29 trucks (mainly Mercedes)
31 flat bed 40’ trailers which are fitted with twistlocks and can also carry g/c
04 trailers for 20’ (short chassis)
04 container handling machinery (2 TEREX reachstackers, 1 CATERPILLAR and 1 HYSTER toploaders)
18 forklifts (8x2.5-3 m/t, 1x4 m/t, 3x7m/t, 3x12 m/t)
1 brand new Xuzhou H.M. Co. hydraulic crane of 65 m/t
1 Grove hydraulic crane of 20 m/t
4 spreaders for 20’
4 spreaders for 40’
Plus all the cargo handling gear as chain, wire and web slings from 2 to 20 m/t, cargo nets, vehicles gear etc.
Our equipment to transport and load the logs is composed by:
21 log trailers (mostly Doll type)
6 Caterpillar 980 equipped with forks
Our personnel is experienced both in the work and in the “environment” for example to quote my own personal experience, I’ve been in the agency, stevedoring etc. business since 1976, arrived in Bata in 1991 stayed until 1996 then worked in Gabon, Cameroon and Malabo until 2006 and returned last September to start DELTAMAR.
Since the beginning of our activity we have discharged/loaded many vessels with very satisfactory results.
We have been nominated stevedores of Safmarine, together with the other stevedoring Co. which was sole stevedore before, so we are now working 50% of Safmarine vessels.

We are also the sole stevedores of Eurocondal S.A., a Shipping Line plying a regular service between the Mediterranean and Equatorial Guinea.
As from September 2007 we have been nominated the new agents of Delmas and associated Companies for the port of Bata.
We have an insurance of Civil Responsibility for any damage caused to persons and or things during our activity of stevedoring and transport, with the biggest E. Guinean Insurance Co. called EGICO for a maximum of 100.000.000 F.CFA (approx. 153.000 €), which can issue an insurance certificate if requested.
